Installation Details Many cars have horizontal bars that run the length of the vehicle. To mount our V Bar, you also need sturdy crossbars w hich run from side to side and attach to your vehicles horizontal bars. The best crossbars are made by Thule and Yakima, and can be purchased on Amazon. Our standard hardware will fit cross bars up to 3.5 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall.
